The MARC - Youth Club Fees
The Registration and Supply fee is $100 (Everyone Pays This).
The Weekly fee is $65 and must be paid each week on or before Friday for the following week. If not paid by Friday, there is a $10 late fee. Due to insurance liabilities, a member may not enter the club if their weekly membership fee has not been paid because a portion of their fee covers liability insurance.
This is a club; we do not provide snacks as a part of the membership. Parents are responsible for their member to have snacks or money to purchase snacks. We are developing a small snack concession stand inside for those who want to purchase snack items.
The MARC - Youth Club
The After-School Arts Club is a drop-in program and meets Monday through Friday and has a variety of activities that ensures participation and offers each child the opportunity to discover the arts and personal creativity and develop at their own pace. All members come and go as they so feel. We do not provide transportation. Transportation to and from the club is the parents' responsibility. We do not require members to come every day. The days that they participate are solely up to each member and their parents. Staff will be on site to monitor, instruct, and oversee all club activities.
SCHOOL CLOSURES
On days that schools are closed the club will be open at 8 AM and will offer a full day program similar to summer camp times. On such days, or weeks, there will be a slight fee adjustment, and parents need to cover snacks and lunch for their member. Those who do not pay for the extra service can still enter the club at 3 PM on such days.
REGULAR DAILY/WEEKLY ACTIVITIES INCLUDE: 1-hour daily Homework Study Period (with staff oversight and assistance if needed), Music theory, Piano, Poetry & Inspiration, Painting on Canvas Projects, Chess, Cultural Activities, Recreation Time, Board Games, Inspirational Videos, Music Listening, and a hang-out spot for all members who simply need a safe leisurely place to be other than on the streets. There is a Special once a month Saturday Arts activity from 12 to 5 PM scheduled. Specific activity will be announced in monthly newsletter.
Each member can participate in the daily and weekly activities from Monday through Thursday from 3 PM until 7:30 PM and on **Fridays from 3 PM until 6:30 PM. *Note, we do encourage 1st graders to be picked up by 6:30 PM Monday through Friday, unless special arrangements have been discussed in advance.
On one Saturday each month there will be a special arts and culture activity scheduled from 12 PM to 5 PM. The specific Saturday will be announced in the first week of each month for the following month and will be addressed in the monthly newsletter that each parent will receive to their email, text, and also a printed copy during the 1st week of each month.
